In person tuition covers daily, gourmet meals, all workshops, performances, and with early application, overnight single-occupancy accommodations in our quaint cabins. If application is received after the weekend session is full, overnight accommodations may not be available. A list of local hotels is available upon request or by clicking here.

A non-refundable deposit of $375.00 is required with each signed application. This deposit is applied toward tuition for in person and virtual classes. Deposits are used for processing fees and instructor deposits and not student(s) funds held in escrow, therefore they are non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance must be received no later than the Final Billing date – (60) days prior to the scheduled workshop. Any application received after the Final Billing Date must include full tuition. We accept all major credit cards and personal checks. Please make checks payable to Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. If you’d like to pay by check, you CANNOT apply online. You must apply via the U.S. mail only using our PDF Application.

Only students themselves may fill out applications for workshop sessions. Submitting an application for another is strictly prohibited.

Discounts, Additional Charges

An alternative lodging discount of $200 will be given for those students staying off campus during 2022 In-Person weekend sessions. A list of local hotels can be found on our FAQ page. Please see lodging and non-student rates section for additional charges for guest stay requests.


Cancellation Policy

The deposit is nonrefundable; however, students may transfer the deposit toward another weekend for the SAME YEARS’s schedule (See below for online policy). Students may not transfer their workshop to another person under any circumstance. Notification of cancellation for in person classes must be given in writing and received no later than 4pm ET of the Final Billing Date indicated on your Account Statement (60 days prior to Workshop). If notice of cancellation is received by 4pm ET of the Final Billing Date, any tuition payments made beyond the $375 deposit will be refunded. Cancellations received after 4pm ET are automatically considered “next day”. No refunds will be given for any cancellations received after 4PM ET on the cancellation deadline. Refunds will not be given for any reason after the schedule workshop begins.

If the Fur Peace Ranch must cancel a workshop, all moneys will be refunded to students who are actively enrolled at the time of cancellation. Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. is not responsible for travel expenses prepaid by students in the event of last minute cancellations. Travel insurance is recommended.

One-on-One/Group Virtual 1, 2 and 3 Day Workshops Cancellation Policy

Students may not transfer their workshop to another person under any circumstance. Notification of cancellation must be given in writing (email is okay) and received no later two days prior to the start of the virtual workshop. The deposit for your online class is non-refundable / non-transferable. No refunds will be given for any cancellation received within 48 hours of the start of the virtual workshop. Refunds will not be given for any reason after the scheduled virtual workshop begins.


Payment Options

A deposit must accompany the application. Make checks payable to Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. and mailed to 39495 St. Clair Rd., Pomeroy, OH 45769. Students paying by credit card will automatically be charged the balance due on the Final Billing Date, unless prior arrangements have been approved.


Personal Conduct

Fur Peace Ranch offers an atmosphere which allows students, guests and staff, together, to create a responsible and responsive musical community. We expect all guests to take responsibility for themselves and their personal belongings. The Fur Peace Ranch will not be held responsible for loss or theft of any personal property. Students or guests volunteering any behavior which endangers or puts someone at risk of danger, will be asked to leave without a refund of tuition. Alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking and firearms are not permitted on the Fur Peace Ranch property and any student or guest found using or in possession of such will be asked to leave the Fur Peace Ranch without a refund of tuition. Additionally, no pets are allowed during weekend sessions.


Taping and Recording Policy

It is suggested that students make audio recordings of their classes for personal reference only, (no video recording permitted). Recording of classes is by instructor permission only after you get permission. If you walk away from the Fur Peace Ranch with audio and or video representation in the form of cds/dvds/tapes or e-files or any form known or unknown at this time, let it be known that these recordings mentioned above are for personal use only. They are not to be shared, downloaded, sold or posted on the internet ever. It is the student’s responsibility to abide by this legal request.


Youth Programs

We are no longer hosting a Summer Youth Program, however, we make accommodations for ages 14 through 17 to attend in person if accompanied by a parent or guardian to a regular scheduled workshop weekend. Underage students must stay off site with a parent or guardian unless special arrangements have been made and are available.


Lodging

All cabins are single occupancy and are included with tuition (space permitting). Cabins are furnished with two single beds with linens, a small night-stand or bookcase, and alarm clock. All cabins have base-board heat and a window air conditioner for your comfort. Cabins are available on a first come, first served basis. We can only accommodate a certain number of students with a cabin. It is possible that you may not have a cabin included as part of your tuition. There is a $200 discount for staying offsite. Equipment Requirements

All students are required to bring their own instruments for in person workshops and other materials needed for each workshop. The Fur Peace Ranch does have a limited number of acoustic guitars available for rent during our weekend sessions. We do not have bass guitars or amps available for rent. Please indicate at time of applying if equipment rental is needed. Rental is $150.00 per weekend, with a $100.00 deposit. Visit the FAQ page on the website for more info.


Scholarships

We are not offering Scholarships at this time.
