2008 Tuition Information
Fees
Tuition covers daily; gourmet meals, all workshops, & performances, and with early application, overnight accommodations in our quaint, double occupancy cabins. If application is received after the weekend session is full, overnight accommodations will not be available. A list of local hotels is available upon request or by clicking here.
Regular weekend sessions run from noon on Friday to noon on Monday. A deposit of $185.00 is required with each signed application. This deposit is applied toward tuition. The balance must be received no later than six weeks prior to scheduled workshop. Any application received after the six week period must include full tuition. We accept all major credit cards and personal checks. Please make checks payable to Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. By signing the application you are entering into a legal binding contract with Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. and acknowledge that you have read and understand all of the rules, regulations and cancellation policies of the Fur Peace Ranch, Inc.

2008 Student Tuition Rates
Weekend workshops: (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) $1,200.00 per student
Couples weekend: (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) $1,750.00 per couple
Special Weekends On Site: (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) $1,500.00 per student and included with weekend schedule are: single accommodations, a polarity therapy/massage session, and individualized instruction sessions with the instructors.
Special Weekends Off Site in Desert Hot Springs, California at the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa: (Mon check in, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri recap) $1,750.00.
Gift Certificates: Any Amount (non-refundable after 30 days of purchase date)
Guest Fee: $195.00
Discounts, Additional Charges
There are no alternative lodging discounts for students who stay off campus during weekend sessions. A list of local hotels can be provided upon request. Please see lodging and non student rates section for additional charges for guest stay requests.
Cancellation Policy
The $185.00 deposit is non refundable, however, students may transfer the deposit toward another weekend for the same year's schedule, however students may not transfer their workshop to another person under any circumstance. Notification of cancellation must be given in writing and received no later than four weeks prior to scheduled workshop. If 4 weeks notice of cancellation is given the tuition will be refunded less the $185.00 deposit. If less than 4 weeks notice of cancellation is given, the Fur Peace Ranch reserves the right not to refund tuition if the open workshop space cannot be filled. Refunds will not be given for any reason after scheduled workshop begins.
If the Fur Peace Ranch must cancel a workshop, all moneys will be refunded or credited to another workshop. Fur Peace Ranch, Inc. is not responsible for travel expenses prepaid by students in the event of last minute cancellations.
Gift certificates expire two years from date of purchase and are non refundable after 30 days of purchase date.

Personal Conduct
Fur Peace Ranch offers an atmosphere which allows students, guests and staff, together, to create a responsible and responsive musical community. We expect all guests to take responsibility for themselves and their personal belongings. The Fur Peace Ranch will not be held responsible for loss or theft of any personal property. Students or guests volunteering any behavior which endangers or puts someone at risk of danger, will be asked to leave without a refund of tuition. Alcohol, illegal drugs and firearms are not permitted on the Fur Peace Ranch property and any student or guest found using or in possession of such will be asked to leave the Fur Peace Ranch without a refund of tuition. Additionally, no pets are allowed during weekend sessions.
Taping and Recording Policy
Taping and recording of classes is by instructor permission only, after you get permission if you walk away from the Fur Peace Ranch with audio and or video representation in the form of cd’s/dvd’s/tapes or e-files or any form known or unknown at this time, let it be known that these recordings mentioned above are for personal use only. They are not to be shared, downloaded, sold or posted on the internet ever. It is the students responsibility to abide by this legal request.
Youth Programs
We are no longer hosting a Summer Youth Program, however, we make accommodations for ages 14 through 17 to attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian to a regular scheduled workshop weekend. Under age students stay off site with parent or guardian unless special arrangements have been made and are available.
Equipment Requirements
All students are required to bring their own instruments and other materials needed for each workshop. The Fur Peace Ranch does have a limited number of acoustic guitars available for rent during our weekend sessions, we have no bass guitars or amps available for rent. Please indicate at time of applying if equipment rental is needed. Rental is $150.00 per weekend, with a $250.00 deposit. It is suggested that students tape record their classes for personal reference only, (no video recording permitted). Visit the Requirements page on the website for more info.
Lodging and Non-student Rates
All cabins are double occupancy and are included with tuition. Cabins are available on a first come first serve basis. It is possible that you may not have a cabin included as part of your tuition. We can only accommodate a certain number of students with a cabin but we do have four teepees available for the nature lover. Additionally, bed space is limited during weekend sessions, only students are eligible to stay overnight. Any guest that wishes to accompany a student will not be able to stay overnight at the Fur Peace Ranch. All non-students may attend meal time, campfires, Saturday evening concert, and the Sunday student performances only at a rate of $195.00 per weekend. Any student planning on bringing a guest during any weekend session MUST get prior approval by the camp Director at least 2 weeks in advance of workshop date.

We try our best to be gentle with our planet's resources. With this in mind, we will e-mail you a receipt (whenever possible) rather than the paper and postal route.
